Introducing the Iranian company that produces biological dressing: Sinacell co.
- General introduction of company (a brief history of its formation and the statement of goals)
Sinacell co.
Sinacell was founded in 2007 (Tehran, Iran) as a Manufacturing Research Company in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering to become a key player in the production of advanced products for therapeutic applications.
Sinacell is the largest amniotic dressing manufacturer in Iran that produce "Cell-Amniosin" under Iran health ministry GMP, IMED and ISO13485 certificates. Our qualify team in sina cell have developed a robust quality management system to ensure the highest quality of products and services.
- Introduction of the most important products/services of the company (if there are many, name the general category.)

Cell-Amniosin™
Cell-Amniosin™ is a cryopreserved cellular human amniotic membrane-derived biological dressing. Due to the containing of different biological factors, Cell-Amniosin™ has a reconstructive role as a biological dressing. The Cell-Amniosin™ has been shown to provide two elements to the chronic wound repair process:
1. Supply of different bioactive extracellular matrix components such as collagen, Fibronectin, Laminin, Proteoglycan and glycosaminoglycan.
2. Function as a permissive, performed, normal human matrix for keratinocyte and fibroblast migration and proliferation.
3. Release cytokines capable of reducing chronic wound inflammation.
4. Provides fibroblast-derived cytokines, particularly angiogenic growthfactors.
Indications and Clinical use
Cell-Amniosin™ has been demonstrated in clinical trials to improve the healing of different wounds in different size such as:
• Dressing and cover the burn wounds
• Diabetic ulcers
• Chronic wounds
• Urology surgeries
• ENT (Ears, Nose, Throat) surgeries
Cell-Amniosin™ is indicated for use in the treatment of full-thickness diabetic foot ulcers greater than 6 weeks duration. Cell-Amniosin™ should be used in conjunction with standard wound care regimens and in patients who have adequate blood supply to the involved wound.
Cell-Amniosin™ can be stored frozen for up to 2 years at -75̊ C ± 5 ̊C and up to 1 year at -20 ̊C.
Amniosin™
Amniosin™ is a cryopreserved acellular human amniotic membrane-derived biological dressing. Due to containing of different biological factors, Amniosin™ has an important reconstructive role as a biological dressing.
Amniosin™ has proved to provide two elements to the chronic wound repair process:
1. Supply of different bioactive extracellular matrix components such as collagen, Fibronectin, Laminin, Proteoglycan and glycosaminoglycan.
2. Function as a permissive, performed, normal human matrix for keratinocyte and fibroblast migration and proliferation.
Indications and Clinical use
Amniosin™ has been demonstrated in clinics for Corneal and conjunctival diseases.
Observed Clinical Effects:
. Facilitate epithelializati
-
• Reduce vascularization
• Maintain normal epithelial phenotype
• Reduce scarring
• Reduce inflamation
Ø As a graft for corneal diseases:
• Persistent corneal epithelial defect with or without ulceration
• Painful bullouk keratopathy with erosion
• Stevens- Johnson syndrome &Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
• Partial limbal stem cell deficiency
• Chemical burns
• Sterile corneal stromal thinning descemetocele & perforation
• Band keratopathy, scar or tumor
Dehydrated Amniosin (D-Amniosin™)
Human Amniotic Membrane Allograft is a decellularized, dehydrated human amniotic membrane with a preserved natural epithelial basement membrane and an intact extracellular matrix structure with its biochemical components. The epithelial basement membrane and extracellular matrix provide a natural scaffold that allows cellular attachment or infiltration and growth factor storage.
Benefits
- Matrix of human proteins to support cellular ingrowth
- Barrier to microbes to hinder infections
- Non-immunogenic to further minimize the risk of inflammatory reactions
- Translucent to allow wound's progress toward healing to be seen
- Flexible to conform to an irregular surface
- Broad range of indications
- Convenient five year shelf life and storage at room temperature
- Available in multiple sizes
Indications
D-Amniosin™ is an allograft intended for use as a biological membrane covering that provides the extracellular matrix while supporting the repair of damaged tissue. As a barrier membrane, D-Amniosin™ is intended to protect the underlying tissue and preserve tissue plane boundaries with minimized adhesion or fibrotic scarring. Indications include, but are not limited to:
- surgical covering,
- wrap or barrier, application to partial- and full-thickness,
- acute and chronic wounds (such as, traumatic and complex wounds, burns, surgical and Mohs surgery sites; and diabetic, venous, arterial, pressure and other ulcers),
- exposed tendon,
- And other wound in muscle, bone or other vital structures.
AmnioDisk™
The AmnioDisk amniotic membrane (AM) disc is a dehydrated overlay graft that will self-adhere to a corneal epithelial defect at least 3 mm in diameter. AmnioDisk is our 3th generation amniotic membrane technology - a sutureless, overlay AM disk for the office-based or surgical treatment of the ocular surface.
- The 15 mm AmnioDisk configuration is available 35 microns nominal thickness.
- AmnioDisk Allografts are provided dehydrated for room-temp storage and activates with sterile saline within minutes.
- The amniotic membrane will generally dissolve over 5-7 days on corneal site.As a graft for corneal diseases:
- Persistent corneal epithelial defect with or without ulceration
- Painful bullouk keratopathy with erosion
- Stevens- Johnson syndrome &Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
- Partial limbal stem cell deficiency
- Chemical burns
- Sterile corneal stromal thinning descemetocele & perforation
- Band keratopathy, scar or tumor
AmnioDisk temperature storage: terminally sterilized with a 5-year shelf life.
Placin careTM
Placin care is a product made from extract of placenta. The placenta is an organ that is disposed during giving birth as bio-waste. It contains bio- active factors such as collagen, laminin, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid and cellular growth factors like hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) that can use as induced regeneration signaling pathway in medical applications. In other words, this extract can be used in medical applications (wounds healing, Repair of damaged tissues such as liver, etc.) and cosmetics (as skin and hair rejuvenation).
As a result of clinical studies, four large groups of medical effects of extract of placenta were recognized.
- An increase in oxygen absorption by tissues,
- Accelerated tissue regeneration,
- An increase in working capacity and relieving fatigue,
- An improvement in blood clotting.
SinadermTM
Sinaderm is a “skin substitute” that is placed on wounds to cover it and to help it heal. It is manufactured in an aseptic environment. It also contains a temporary mesh fabric that will eventually dissolve and go away by itself.
Stem cell activity:
In search for new alternative treatments for various diseases stem cells are being investigated for their potentially widespread use in therapies for many untreatable diseases. Among them modern treatment strategies interestingly use MSCs derived from different sources. All studies provided the evidence about MSC repair ability in the body, which they do this by different mechanisms including: secretion of multiple bioactive proteins, production and secretion of a large number of regulatory substances, stimulation of several endogenous repair processes in injured tissues, modulation of immune response, self-regenerate ability and differentiate into several cell lineages. The great potential and availability of MSCs allow for their various clinical applications in the treatment of many incurable diseases.
In Sinacell Research & Production Co. we produce allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from different sources with different brands. Allo-stemsin-A (Adipose derived MSC), Allo-stemsin-B (Bone marrow derived MSC), and Allo-stemsin-C (Umbilical Cord derived MSC).
