Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, council of stem cell sciences and technology has aimed to design and create the first specialized application in the field of stem cells for networking the activities of researchers, students and technology companies in this area and create a proper foundation for more synergy.

The main philosophy for creation of this application is networking of activists in the area of stem cells in the country. There are many active individuals in this field, such as researchers, students, academics and technology companies, who have no information about each other and are working separately. Therefore, headquarters for stem cell sciences and technology designed the first stem cells application with the cooperation of Sharif University of Technology to collect active individuals in the field of stem cells and create cooperation among them.

Stem cells technology is a relatively new and growing science in the country. Activity in the field of stem cells include several scientific and specialized fields, such as tissue engineering, chemistry, as well as various basic science and biology fields.

Stem cells application is accessible through mobiles and tablets, and we have aimed to create another version for computers in the near future.

Currently, this network is ready for exploitation and we hope that it will be unveiled on the second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine, so that many active individuals in the field of stem cells are identified and added to stem cells network.

The second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held July 13^th-15^th 2017 at Tehran international conference hall with the support of council for stem cell sciences and technology of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
