Setting up the office for national hematopoietic stem cell donor network
The office for national hematopoietic stem cell donor network has been setup in cooperation with vice presidency for science and technology and ministry of health and medical education. It is located in Italy Street
Dr. Amir Ali Hamidieh on Wednesday in an interview with IRNA said, "The office for national hematopoietic stem cell donor network has been setup in cooperation with vice presidency for science and technology and ministry of health and medical education. It is located in Italy Street".
He stated, "We are looking for centralization of all information related to hematopoietic stem cell registries and cord blood banks in shape of a national network in order to help patients in need. Information contained in the national network which includes patients information will be kept confidentially in ministry health and medical education servers. Currently we are in the phase of software design for this network.
Next he mentioned," we have received four new requests for joining national network. All of the related centers will connect together and data exchange will happen soon. In near future all centers across the country would be able to benefit from un-related donors in and out of the country".
