Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

At the cessation of national festival and congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine, Sattari said that audacity, risk-taking and self-confident were the bedrock of innovative activities and cornerstone of the country’s progress.

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Soorena Sattari- the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs at the cessation of first national festival and congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine said that the most basic capital the advantageous of technology of stem cells and regenerative medicine were capable human forces beside welcoming the Iranian and foreign participants in this ceremony and added: We should conclude that human force is each country’s capital and we should prepare a mechanism so that this valuable asset get considered as the most important property of the country.

Head of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter emphasized on rectifying the culture of mere dependency on underground resources and cultural orientation toward valuation based on human capabilities of the country and declared: This country’s future is not summarized in oil and gas but in our students and youth and if we believe so, we will definitely become successful in future.

Sattari said that the national festival and congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine was such an attempt and in addition to expressing his gladness of this festival’s achievements, added: Fortunately in this year’s festival, we have witnessed many positive events together. Events such as holding student olympiad, setting up student research institutes and other technological attempts of this kind by the effort of ministry of education on association with the vice presidency for science and technology affairs will prepare the base of teenagers’ and youth’s practical familiarity with scientific and technology field well.

Head of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter of the country mentioned that we had one knowledge-based company in the field on stem cells last year but now we have 50 companies and promised that we witness more growth in this field in the country.

Sattari stated that our olympiads and curriculum should be designed in such a way that students get attracted by our own market in future rather than guide them to outside the country’s markets and said that continuation of this scientific and propagative moves were necessary in the country.

In the following of this ceremony, the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs, minister of education and minister of science, research and technology appreciated superior individuals of this festival and visited the exhibition of knowledge-based companies at the end.

First national festival and congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine was held from May 19^th to 21^st by the efforts of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter and the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of vice presidency for science affairs at the Rayzan international conference center in Tehran.
