CellTech Pharmed is a Cell-based Therapy Company which is focused on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicines. CellTech Pharmed is a joint venturing Company between Barekat Pharmaceutical Group (the biggest Pharmaceutical Holding in Iran with a total revenue of 1 B USD/year, involved in developing, manufacturing and trading of Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical products) and Royan Institute (one of the top leaders in stem Cell Research and Technology worldwide). CellTech Pharmed was established on February 19, 2014 with the vision of meeting the ongoing demands for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicines in Iran and MENA region with the investment of 100 million USD.
CellTech Pharmed seeks to address unmet medical needs and demands through novel therapeutics, tools and technologies that hold the promise of better treatments and cures. CellTech Pharmed facility has the capacity to cover more than 30,000 patients per year until the year 2025.
CellTech Pharmed is a fully GMP facility and has a 1200 m2 manufacturing site for the production of cell based medicinal products for different applications. On January 2018, CellTech Pharmed Facility got the GMP approval for its Autologous products.

This product contains living fibroblast cells derived from the dermis layer of the patient's own skin and is used to repair depressions caused by acne scars and rejuvenate the skin.
MesestroCell:
This product contains live stromal cells of cultured mesenchyme of the patient's own bone marrow tissue and is used to treat knee, hip and ankle arthritis.
Recolorell:
This product contains living keratinocyte and melanocyte cells derived from the epidermis layer of the skin, which, while having the ability to reproduce, are able to produce and transfer pigment to the skin.
WhartoCell:
This product is an allogeneic cell product, the result of the isolation and cultivation of cells from the umbilical cord of a healthy baby, containing living cells of the umbilical cord mesenchyme, and it is used to treat cerebral palsy in children.
