Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Asghar Fani- minister of education at the cessation ceremony of the first national festival and international congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine, mentioned the development of modern technologies in student research institutes and said: 6 fields have been anticipated for educating students in the country’s education system mutation act whose approval and setting took 10 years.

Mentioning the necessity of reinforcing the creative mood among students, Fani said: Students must be able to answer the question of “Why, What and How” so that the creativity is replaced memory jobs; for this, 500 research institutes have been set up in 500 points of the country and we try that each educating region get a research center once the government’s work is finished.

Fani considered stated that establishing at least on student research center in each region was the education’s targeting in the 11^th government and said: Modern technologies such as Nano technology, Bio technology and specially stem cells are taught to students in this research centers and actually, we are seeking development of modern technologies in these research centers.

Fani stated at the end that the students who could manage to get familiar with modern technologies would become students whose outcome from ministry of education can be an input for the academic society and hoped that each Iranian be a researcher, thinker and useful element for the Iranian and global society.
