The president of the Asia-Pacific Innovation Forum stated: considering the provision of proper facilities for startup activities in the country, Iran is the heaven of startups.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Peyman Salehi, the president of the first Asia-Pacific Innovation Forum, expressed on the press conference of the event: proper paths have been shaped for the development of startup activities in the country by relevant organizations and units, and Iran is the heaven of growth and development of startup activities. Therefore, the holding of this event will be associated with sharing our experiences with other countries.

He considered this commission as a specialized and regional unit, adding: the social and economic council of the united nations has a regional agency in each continent, the mission of which has been allocated to ESCAP in Asia and Oceania based in Bangkok, Thailand.

The first Asia-Pacific Innovation Forum (ESCAP) will be held June 10^th-11^th, 2019 in the conference hall of Islamic countries by the efforts of the international affairs and technological exchange center and in the presence of the ministers and representatives of more than 50 countries and heads of relevant international organizations. Specialized meetings will also be held along with the eighth international technology and innovation exhibition (INOTEX 2019) at the permanent location of international exhibitions of Tehran. ESCAP is held with the highest global standards.

During this meeting, the secretary of ESCAP announced the presence of representatives from 50 different countries, expressing: the first Asia-Pacific Innovation Forum will be held on June 10^th-11^th, 2019.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ahmadreza Alaei, the secretary of the first Asia-Pacific Innovation Forum, mentioned on the press conference: this summit will be held by the suggestion of Iran. This is the first time that our country witnesses such as the unique experience of holding an international event with the cooperation of the United Nations on the topic of technology and innovation.

He also asserted: the complementary information and programs of the event will be announced on the innovationforum website.

Gathering of Players of Innovation and Technology Ecosystem in INOTEX 2019

During the meeting, Mahdi Safarinia, head of Pardis Technology Park, pointed out the holding of seven rounds of INOTEX in the country, affirming: the international innovation and technology exhibition of INOTEX has been turned into a place for a gathering of most effective players of the ecosystem of innovation and technology.

Head of Pardis Technology Park expressed the goals of the INOTEX exhibition, mentioning: investing and connecting domestic and international investors with companies and startups, participating and collaborating between technology companies and domestic and international startups, and creating attractive content for different components of ecosystems are the most important goals of this exhibition.
