"Amniodisk is a biologically based dressing made of human amniotic membrane", "skin products", "exosome extraction kits", "MULTIPLEX kits" are among these products.
These unveilings were made to introduce the latest achievements in the field of stem cells and reconstructive medicine, so that after the introduction of these capabilities, the domestic and global market will accept these products.
At present, 600 products in the field of stem cells and reconstructive medicine have been presented in the country, 16 of which were unveiled today. Products that can each have a large market in the country and be a big step in the treatment of diseases.
Referring to the formation of a new ecosystem in the field of research, the Vice President of Science and Technology said at the ceremony: "We must try to stabilize this ecosystem and direct the capital of the private sector in this direction so that this action can be done quickly." We do not get the product with the money of the public sector in the research sector. Production is the result of private sector investment. Government money in this area leads to the development of infrastructure and training of manpower, not the production of products.
Pointing out that the ecological chain of technology and innovation in the country should be completed, the Vice President of Science and Technology said: "It is necessary to form a production chain to turn articles into products in the country." Universities and other components of this ecosystem must come together.
Also, Amir Ali Hamidieh, Secretary of the Stem Cell Science and Technology Development Headquarters of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, said at the ceremony that stem cell technology and reconstructive medicine in our country have been accompanied by great progress in recent years. Only incurable diseases can be treated at low cost in Iran; Instead, patients should come to Iran from abroad and be treated by specialists in the field of stem cells in our country.
He added: "During the last six years, the headquarters has held various workshops, scientific conferences, festivals and unveilings in various fields, all of which show the increasing efforts of the country's activists in stem cells and reconstructive medicine."
The Secretary of the Stem Cell Science and Technology Development Headquarters continued: "Recently, a very strategic drug that is used in the field of organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has been produced by our country's researchers and this drug has obtained the initial license from the Food and Drug Administration.
