Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

Alireza Daliri, head of deputy for management development and resources of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, visited the booths of this festival and achievements of knowledge-based companies. Regarding the holding of the event, Daliri stated: the second round of the festival was significantly improved, which indicates the effective implementation of tasks in the area of stem cells. In 2013, a small number of knowledge-based companies were active in the area of stem cells. Nevertheless, the number of these companies extremely increased due to proper planning by council for stem cells science and technologies.

Head of deputy for management development and resources continued: the need of our community to this field of knowledge is completely felt, and holding similar festival could be a suitable approach for creating communication among science centers, researchers, investors and idea owners.

Pointing out the broken records at techmart of the festival, Daliri added: this record breaking and the amount of concluded contracts demonstrate the high need of the market to this field of knowledge. In addition, there are many reliable products in this field, which have led to the entrance of investors to the market. Without a doubt, appropriate planning will lead to flourishing of the stem cell area in a way that the ranking of the county would be improved in the region and the world.

He also affirmed: the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs will definitely provide financial and spiritual supports for these technological companies and their products, so that the products that have not been introduced to the market yet are introduced quickly.

The second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine was held (July 13^th-15^th, 2017) at Iran international conference center with the support of council for stem cells science and technologies.
