Opening of first institute of stem cells and regenerative medicine in Tabriz

According to the public relations and information center of the vice presidency for science and technology affairs, SorenaSattari, vice president for science and technology at the opening of first institute of stem cells and regenerative medicine said: Inauguration of cell therapy center in Tabriz university of medical sciences is very auspicious and cell therapy and regenerative medicine can develop more than before. Hopefully opening of this center can improve the field of stem cell and regenerative medicineand university will become an entrepreneur with new technologies and products.

He mentioned that incredible therapeutic effect of stem cell and regenerative medicine can improve society health and we supported entrepreneur companies in this field of sciences. To establish the first institute of stem cells and regenerative medicine, vice presidency of science and technology give 2.5 million $ to Tabriz university of medical sciences and companies which grows in future in this center automatically supported by vice presidency of science and technology.

Sattari named Tabriz as one of the Iran’s central excellence and mentioned that we should turn our economy to knowledge based economy and all cities should try harder to reach this achievement.

He mentioned, despite of some country building wall around themselves we try to remove walls around our univeristies because there is no border between sciences anymore and regenerative medicine as the future of medical science is an interdisciplinary science.

Amir Ali Hamidieh, secretary for development of stem cell sciences and technologies said: supporting this field of science is one of our important priority so establish new three cell therapy institutes is in our plan in future.
