Dr. Hamidieh at the Cessation of First National Festival and International Congress on Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine:
Over than 800 Stem Cells’ Researchers Has Been Employed to the Headquarter’s Thinking Room Over the Last Year
According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Amir Ali Hamidieh-Secretary of council for development of stem cell sciences and technologies, informed about employing over 800 researchers and students interested in stem cells in the form of over 30 thinking rooms in the stem cells headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs.
Stating the set of carried out activities about the approved gathering of the first national festival and international congress on stem cells and regenerative medicine, Hamidieh said: The stem cells technology development headquarter with ongoing efforts managed to gather a group of experts in different scientific fields such as clinical, fundamental and engineering sciences and has managed to have 1000 volunteer candidates signed up in the following.
He added: The Innovation Thought Administration has managed to attract 170 expatriate Iranian in this national congress.
President of the stem cells technology development headquarter considered the level of holding this congress to be unprecedented and said: The national congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine has been the most unprecedented national and international congress on stem cells with presence of foreign lecturers.
He mentioned the holding of student olympiad in this national congress and said: With the aids of ministry of education we managed to hold this section with presence of students in the country as good as possible and although this section didn’t have the points of National Elites Foundation like university entrance examination, we have been witnessing the active presence of about 3798 students from the very beginning which the elected ones of the third stage will be appreciated.
Hamidieh said at the end: By using stem cells and regenerative medicine sciences we hope to increase the human’s life with high quality as the most important issue for each country is security and health.
First national festival and congress on sciences and technologies of stem cells and regenerative medicine was held from May 19th to 21st by the efforts of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter and the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of vice presidency for science affairs at the Rayzan international conference center in Tehran.
