The second international virtual event of Cell Plus College on New technologies in regenerative medicine
2days event named CellPLus College supported by council for development of stem cell sciences and technologies in collaboration with Erasmus MC, Azad university in Oxford, Oklohama University, Victoria and Michigan Universities as well as all the center of excellences in Iran (TUMS, Royan, Tarbiat Modares, Yazd, Shiraz, Mashhad, Kerman, Iran and Tabriz medical Universities) will be held virtually due to the pandemic situation.
Regenerative medicine is an interdisciplinary field involving cell therapy, tissue engineering, and gene therapy, and focuses on the replacement, repair, and/or regeneration of cells, tissues, and organs. However, various problems, such as shortage of donated organs, immune rejection, and the need for immunosuppressive therapy, were associated with organ transplantation. In contrast, regenerative medicine uses a combination of biological techniques, such as gene therapy, cell therapy [such as stem cells], allo-or auto transplantation, tissue engineering, and/or molecular medicine, instead of replacing the whole organ. More recently, using the new technologies such as organ and patient on a chip, iPS, immune cell and gene therapy, 3d Bio-printing and autophagy enable scientists and researcher to expand this field with various method.
The event will introducing most interesting cutting-edge knowledge & new methods in the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine. This program will last 2 days (10-11 of July 2021). This program provide opportunity of communication for different scientist around the world, share the latest update and design precise and new studies.
