In this meeting, Dr. Hamidieh, while thanking the actions taken to start the Stem Cell Transplant Department of Al-Zahra Hospital, said: Earlier, the first transplant department in the country was started in Isfahan, but it was not used, so the new department started working. The connection of the province in Al-Zahra Hospital (AS) is a source of satisfaction.
Dr. Hamidieh also stated: The future of medicine will be determined by stem cell science, and we must move along with the world in this direction, and the products and services of this field will form the fourth generation of medicine. Some products in this area have very high prices in the world and can bring a very high added value to the country's economy. Also, the treatment of some incurable diseases, which was once far from expected, is currently being done by regenerative medicine. He also pointed out the appropriate potential of the university to
set up a comprehensive center for stem cells and regenerative medicine as one of the most important infrastructures of the ecosystem of this technology.
In this meeting, Dr. Baqaei, director of public relations and international affairs of the headquarters, also gave a report on the measures taken by the headquarters to develop this new science in the country.
