Stem cells technological and innovative proposal were presented to support the development of technology
The forty-third meeting of the working group of companies active in the field of cells and regenerative medicine was held, and these companies presented their innovative and technological plans.
In addition to the CEOs of knowledge-based companies, Amir Ali Hamidieh, Secretary of council, and Hossein Soltani Nejad, Director of Technology and Commercialization, were also present at the meeting.
One of the projects presented in this working group was the project "Production of IUI and IVF culture media in infertility treatment" which was presented by Ranjbar from Azar Teb Asoudeh Company.
Ranjbar stated that Asoudeh Company started working in 1991 and started selling infertility treatment products to active centers and laboratories in 1993, and has been working professionally in this field since 1995. "Our goal is to achieve technology," he said. It is necessary to produce all products in this field.
Gender determination with less error
Explaining the company's plan, he said: "The 100% gradient medium and the sperm washing solution produced by the egg and embryo transfer media are being completed." The next goal is to produce oil media and solutions that can determine the sex of the offspring more successfully, as well as bring the isolation media to a level where the sperm that carries the AIDS virus can be isolated. He said that the gradient solution and sperm washing, is responsible for separating healthy from unhealthy sperm, he said: this product, has competition with similar foreign samples and has much lower price.
Automatic transfer of genes to cells
Then, Moeid Dehghanpour, CEO of Sepidjamgan Technologists and Ali Ghamari, Director of Research and Development of Sepid Jamgan Technologists, presented the design and construction of the CliniMACS Prodigy device. Ghamari said that the project to build the Prodigy CliniMACS device is exclusively in the hands of a foreign company. He stated that by carrying out this plan, the dependence of the country and the monopoly of foreign companies has been eliminated "Finally, new technology will be localized in the country," he said. Dehghanpour stated that one of the necessities of the health sector in transplanting genetically engineered cells is to produce these types of cells in a clean environment. And without It interferes with the external environment in a clean manner and provides a ready-to-use cell for transplantation. He pointed to the components of this device and said: "This device is composed of various components, which can include a centrifuge based on light, a MACS device, an incubator and a computer monitor."
Launching the production line of safety assessment kits
Another Important project presented in this working group was "launching a production line of safety assessment kits based on quantitative luminescence technology to improve maternal and fetal health tests." Zeinab Najafi, CEO of Nikajan Pajooh, stated that today, with the advancement of technology, the possibility of measuring the effective factors in determining the quality of pregnancy and the ability to have children among families has increased significantly. Launch the production of immunoassay kits based on quantitative luminescence in Iran. Najafi continued: "By carrying out this project, this technology will be localized by Iranian experts for the first time in our country."
Presenting technological plans of 7 companies
The CEOs of several other companies also presented their technological and innovative project designs in the field of stem cells. "Production and commercialization of human cord blood serum" from Ayandeh Pajooh Salamat Omid Company, “Design of quality of life assessment application for infertile women" from Midwifery and Reproductive Health Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, "Comprehensive Mothers Remote Care Platform" from Novin Media Medical Supplies Development Company and the project "Design of a genetic panel for early diagnosis of premature ovarian failure based on the Iranian population" from Royan Research Institute are among these cases.
The meeting also included "Design and fabrication of a fluorescence microscope module" by Nikandish Rabo, "Isolation of a complete fetal cell from a pregnant mother's blood for early and non-invasive diagnosis after the seventh week of pregnancy using a microfluidic system" from Novin Bioprocess Drug Company and "Production of rapid detection kits of antibiotics in milk to prevent the entry of antibiotics into milk and baby food chain" was presented by Fartak Teb.
