Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ehsan Arefian, secretary of workshops in the second national festival and international congress of stem cell and regenerative medicine, pointed out the planning of these workshops is one of the educational priorities of the council for development of stem cell sciences and technologies. These workshops are titled based on the improvement of necessary skills of enthusiasts in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine. In addition, it has been attempted to familiarize the participants of these workshops with practical implications and boundaries of knowledge.

He continued: these workshops are held to empower the beneficiaries in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

Arefian added: in total, 17 educational workshops, including extraction and characterization of stem cells, immune cell therapy, genome editing with bioinformatics and molecular approaches, design and write of instructions for cellular products and microfluidics, will be held along with the second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine. These educational workshops will be held in all research centers and universities.

Secretary of these educational workshops also affirmed: in order to facilitate the public use, all of these workshops will be provided for participants with 50% discount.

The second national festival and international congress of stem cell and regenerative medicine, will be held at Iran international conference center on July 13^th-15^th, 2017. Along this competition, specialized science workshops in the field of stem cells will be held to familiarize the participants with applicable concepts and boarder of knowledge during July 8^th12^th, 2017 in Tehran.
