Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

The third day of educational specialized workshops of the second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine was warmly welcomed by the activists of the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the most welcomed section of the second national festival and international congress of stem cells was holding educational specialized workshops in the presence of recognized professors and activists of this technological field. Similar to the first two days, the third day of workshops was intensively carried out. In total, five specialized workshops were held, some of which were the continuation of previous workshops.

The first workshop of this day, which was held at 09:00 A.m by Dr. Hamid Aghaei Bakhtiari for 25 activists of stem cells field at stem cell technology research center, was introduction to bioinformatics of mRNAs in regulation of cellular behaviors.

In this day, audiences were familiarized with tissue engineering and building of scaffolds. In this two-day workshop, the first section of which was held today, Mohammad Hossein Ghanian introduced the concepts of tissue engineering and cell scaffolds to the participants of the workshop.

In addition, one-day workshops of “ethics in regenerative medicine research” and “business model in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine” were held by Dr. Reza Amani Samani at Royan and Ibn Sina research centers and by Dr. Peyman Keyhanvar at the flourishing complex of knowledge-based companies, respectively.

The second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine was held (July 13^th-15^th, 2017) at Iran international conference center with the support of council for stem cells science and technologies.
