Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Technologies

The first symposium on “Graft versus host disease (GvHD)” will be held within the framework of the third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held with joint cooperation of Iran and France.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, GvHD is a complication that occurs after allogeneic transplantation of hematopoietic stem cells and is one of the major causes of post-transplant mortality. This symposium is a great opportunity for researchers and scientists in this area to be gathered from around the world and share their new and valuable findings on detection and treatment of this disease. The mentioned symposium will be dedicated to the evaluation of new findings on GvHD.

The main topics of the symposium include a new attitude toward pathophysiology and ranking of chronic and acute GvHD, new and developing treatments for these patients, clinical trials for patients with GvHD, role of cell course and combination of transplant tissue in the emergence of GvHD, cell therapy for patients with GvHD, biomarkers related to GvHD, photophoresis for GvHD, and manipulation of graft to prevent GvHD. 

The deadline for sending articles to this event is September 6^th 2018, and the symposium will be held November 28^th-December 1^st, 2018 in the international conference hall.
