According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a number of ambassadors and heads of agencies of Iran outside the country visited the Pardis Technology Park for purposeful development of technology diplomacy and gain information about the abilities, studies and measures taken in this regard.
This conference was held to introduce the efficiency and abilities of technological and knowledge-based companies with the economy development approach. Ambassadors and representatives present in the conference hope to take an important step toward the development of international collaborations of innovators in the country by supporting the knowledge-based companies and young entrepreneurs.
Mahdi Safarnia, head of the Pardis Technology Park, stated on this visit: our main goal is to create a base for non-resident Iranian experts and scientists. We need to realize that knowledge-based companies are one of the bases of development of economy in the country. In addition, technology parks are among the major infrastructures for development of science and research.
He asserted: currently, we have witnessed a proper scientific advancement in universities of the country performed by researchers and students. Therefore, Pardis Technology Park has aimed to use these ideas and turn them into salable products.
President of Pardis Technology Park explained about the activities and measures taken in this regard, adding: there are 260 technological and knowledge-based companies in the park, who were able to attract 4000 thousand individuals from various fields and introduce 900 products to domestic and international markets.
At the end of this program, guests visited the permanent exhibition of technological products of member countries and learned about the latest achievements of Aria Teb Firouz Co. and Bartar Electronic Co.
