The Staff Secretary’s visit to Comprehensive Center of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine of Sharif University of Technology
According to the report of Public Relations and International Affairs of Council for Development of Stem Cell Sciences and Technologies, visit to the Comprehensive Center for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine of Sharif University of Technology with the presence of Dr. Hamidieh, Secretary of the Headquarters, and Dr. Shamlou, a member of the faculty of Sharif University of Technology, and a group of professors on the 13th It was done in January 2023.
In the beginning, Dr. Hamidieh mentioned: “Now that we have the ability to produce cell products in a wider way in this field, and in this particular field, necessary investment should be made in the sectors that are closer to the markey.” This was after visiting the clean room and building of the comprehensive center.
While presenting suggestions regarding the construction of practical and needed devices, he added: “the establishment of comprehensive centers for the stem cells and regenerative medicine, the establishment of active companies in this field, and the cooperation and use of the experiences of professors of basic sciences, clinical medicine and technical engineering in order to produce related products and use them in treatment is very important. Then, while explaining the activities carried out, Dr. Shamlou listed the achievement of practical products in this field as one of the long-term objectives of the comprehensive center.
