Non-resident Iranian Experts Visited Pardis Technology Park of Science and Technology at the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in line with initiation of cooperation between non-resident Iranian experts and science and technology centers of the country and defining the method of this cooperation and knowledge-based businesses, council for stem cells science and technologies held a brainstorming meeting in the presence of non-resident scientists and researchers at Pardis technology park. After the meeting, the technological achievements in the field of stem cells were visited by non-resident Iranian experts.

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in line with initiation of cooperation between non-resident Iranian experts and science and technology centers of the country and defining the method of this cooperation and knowledge-based businesses, council for stem cells science and technologies held a brainstorming meeting in the presence of non-resident scientists and researchers at Pardis technology park. After the meeting, the technological achievements in the field of stem cells were visited by non-resident Iranian experts.

Ali Morteza Birang, deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, mentioned the accelerated pace of change in science and technology of the country, expressing: with the initiation of the work of government of prudence and hope, the vice president for science and technology affairs and president of Iran national elites foundation established a new section in the council to focus on Iranian scientists, experts, students and graduates from top universities and technology centers of the world. In March 2014, the project for cooperation with non-resident Iranian experts and scientists was created according to the needs and feedbacks of these individuals and the country.

He continued: if the researchers are eager to return to Iran and be recruited as faculty members or for performing research activities, it would be extremely valuable and beneficial. However, the approach of our council is to lead experienced individuals toward technological activities and realization of knowledge-based economy in the country.

Introducing the system for cooperation between prominent non-resident Iranian experts and scientists, deputy for international affairs and technological exchange explained about the supports provided by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, including postdoctoral facilities, sabbatical leaves, cooperation with visiting professors, support of holding lectures and specialized workshops, support of technology activities (creation of new companies), employment in knowledge-based, industrial and productive companies and support of young professors.

Along with holding the second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine, technological products of Sinacell knowledge-based company were visited by non-resident Iranian researchers and experts. This is one of the knowledge-based companies that attended the second festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

 The second national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine was held (July 13th-15th, 2017) at Iran international conference center with the support of council for stem cells science and technologies.
